WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE MINTS ON YOU AT ALL TIMES?WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE MINTS ON YOU AT ALL TIMES?

Mints are something to the effect of a sidekick. Is your mouth feeling dry? Have a mint! Feel like you have bad breath? Have a mint! Need to freshen up? Have a…? Mint! They not only give you freshness, but they also cool you down. Almost like you have hit a reset button to your day. Whether you carry a bag or not, mints should be on your person at all times, and here’s why.

FRESHNESS, GUILT-FREE!

Most mints usually have sugar in them which can be bad for the teeth and your overall health, at large. These mints are not only sugar-free but are also diabetes-friendly. Every time you need to reset your day or need a breath of fresh air, pop a mint, guilt-free! Sugar-free does not mean that the mints are bitter to taste, interestingly, the sugars used are calorie-free and diabetes-friendly. Meaning, no compromise on taste or health.

MINT CAN IMPROVE SELF-CONFIDENCE

A lot of people feel less confident when they aren’t looking their best or when they have just eaten food which may cause their breath to smell a little off. This can cause one to feel under-confident or even anxious when meeting another person. Mints can instantly resolve this issue and give people the confidence to talk and laugh freely. And of course, if you’re going on a date, it’s always better to be safe than sorry!

MINT AND INDIAN FOOD

In India, almost all our food uses strong spices and flavours, the smell of which can be stubborn to remove simply by sipping on water or sometimes even rinsing. Garlic, turmeric, onion, and a few more ingredients, although healthy, nutritious, and even medicinal, can cause the freshness in the mouth to deplete. Mints can help regain the freshness with any flavour of your choice; relieving you from the heavy tastes.

MINT AS A PALETTE CLEANSER

Not just with Indian food, but food, in general, can make the mouth feel unfresh. Mint can be used as a palette cleanser in between meals or even in between different food items (remember, never to consume mints in excess as they can cause laxative effects).

MINT AS DESSERT

After meals, one often feels the need to end with something sweet. After all, who doesn’t like happy endings? But of course, desserts come with a bunch of baggage, especially if you’re trying to lose weight or maintain yourself. Mints can be a healthy replacement for dessert as though they are sweet, they are sugar-free!

MINT RELIEVES A DRY MOUTH/THROAT

It isn’t that the mint has any medicinal properties, but the act of sucking on a mint can exercise your mouth to excrete more saliva. This in turn keeps the mouth moist and as you swallow, the throat also feels fresh and lubricated.

Like we mentioned earlier, mints are sort of like our sidekicks. Keeping them with us at all times will give us the confidence we need to get on with our busy lives, hassle-free, guilt-free, and most definitely, sugar-free!
